Holderness testified in 1837 that he moved to a place at the Noxubee turnpike in October 1832, remained there until January 1834, and was very often at the agency about 1¼ miles away.
You are standing in the relation carried by the testimony. The source gives a place relation, a distance, a span of months, and repeated agency presence. It does not give us the traveled line between them.

No compass bearing is supplied by the testimony.

Oct. 1832Jan. 1834
The relation repeats: .
Holderness estimated approximately once every two or three days during the period he described. This is cadence, not a reconstructed journey.
A place described as being at the Noxubee turnpike stands in a repeated relation to the agency. The record gives distance and cadence; the space between remains unclaimed.
No road yet. Later occurrences under the same name-form are held separately; this ground does not inherit identity, biography, or travel between them.
Window · local relation · no movement
“About 1¼ miles” is the precision ceiling here.
The testimony supplies approximate distance. This specimen does not convert that wording into a measured radius, a road segment, or a modern coordinate.

No road, path, or travel geometry is held between these occurrences.
Holderness's repeated agency presence is also source-carried. It supplies cadence, not a line between the two places.
Window · place / institution occurrence
The agency is reachable as a named relation before it is reachable as another ground.
The testimony places Holderness in repeated presence at the Choctaw agency. The cadence is source-carried; movement from the turnpike place is not. A separate agency ground would require its own controlled body and an earned crossing.
Window · testimony-local cadence · no route
“Once every two or three days” earns repeated presence, not a path.
The testimony supplies a rough cadence for Holderness being at the agency during the period he described. It does not supply departure points, means of travel, route geometry, duration of visits, or motive.

McKinney Holderness
Role here: witness describing residence, proximity, and repeated agency presence.
Time spoken about: October 1832–January 1834.
Witness position disclosed later in this same deposition: Holderness says he had opposed the reservation locations. After the register and receiver would not sell, he says he and Samuel Ragsdale paid Wilie Davis $3,500 cash for three and one-half sections and took Davis's bond to make title or refund the money. Holderness says he did not know whether he would get the land or the money.
This earns a cash-payment and bond state with the outcome unresolved. It does not establish that title passed or the land was received, and it does not by itself prove motive, bias, residence, or a causal relation to the testimony about Ward or the registration book.
Identity state: this occurrence is controlled. Early-1830s GLO occurrences and the later patent/cadastral occurrence remain separately governed. The Ward registration-book relation travels through this same deposition carrier.
Another place occurrence in this testimony: Holderness says he kept spirits at “my public house on the road” and very often sold liquor to Ward. The testimony does not expressly identify that house as this measured turnpike place.
Controlled testimony occurrence · viewer crossing through the carrier, not historical movement
McKinney Holderness — early-1830s GLO rows
Role held separately: name-form in Public Lands transaction records.
Identity relation to the testimony occurrence unresolved · no residence inherited
McKinney Holderness — later patent / cadastral occurrence
Role held separately: purchaser / payment party recited behind two 1841 patent instruments; Bell and Gillespie are assignees / grantees on both controlled faces.
Viewer crossing to cadastral descriptions · identity relation unresolved · patent is not person-location
Same name-form makes comparison available. No identity line has been earned between the testimony occurrence and the land-record occurrences.

1837 testimony carrying an earlier residence relation
This public specimen is built from the controlled workshop state that Holderness testified he moved to a place at the Noxubee turnpike in October 1832, remained there until January 1834, and was very often at the agency about 1¼ miles away—approximately once every two or three days.
No continuous Holderness biography, exact agency coordinate, Ward/Bell causal chain, or identity across later land occurrences is asserted here.
Another ground is reachable from this same deposition carrier: Holderness also describes seeing Ward's registration book with its sewing apart and some leaves fall out. That is a documentary/source-carrier relation, not a road from the Noxubee turnpike.
Another Holderness occurrence is held. There is no road between them here.
Same name-form can make another occurrence worth comparing. It does not make it the same person. You may know that another body exists without receiving a line, route, life story, or inherited role.
This is not a warning attached to a road. The road itself is absent.
