The possible value is not “a Folio” as a generic software object. The live thing is a capacity: serious distributed work can remain inheritable without requiring one person to serve as the message bus. The work carries its own current state, history, brakes, roads home, and bounded question.
Why that could matter outside Earthly Hands
Many groups already have documents, chat, task systems, archives, and AI. The harder problem is continuity: how another person or machine can re-enter consequential work without flattening provenance, confusing current with history, or making a human repeatedly reconstruct the state. This specimen is beginning to demonstrate a different answer to that problem.
What is not yet earned
No outside person has paid for this. No market has been demonstrated. Reduced burden inside Earthly Hands is evidence of usefulness here, not proof of external demand. The instrument should therefore keep asking for encounters rather than converting its own usefulness into a business claim.
